Manual task risk assessment using systems thinking

Manual task risk assessment using systems thinking
HaMSTA is based on systems thinking principles and enables identification of both physical and psychosocial contributory factors which could result or have resulted in an injury from hazardous manual tasks. It uses a taxonomy of contributory factors that is available as a download.
It can be used to assess existing hazardous manual tasks, assess the design of new manual tasks, and assess the controls from hazardous manual task investigations.
The reliability and validity of HaMSTA has not been assessed.
Your use of HaMSTA is at your discretion. The developer does not claim it meets legislative obligations for assessing hazardous manual tasks. Use of HaMSTA is solely at the discretion of users.
The reliability and validity of HaMSTA has not been assessed.
